Student Start Up - Micro Biz Academy
Microbiz is a program designed to enable Teesside University students to explore, start and launch side hustle projects that enhance employability skills and develop income through activity. If you've already started or just have a business idea you can apply to receive fully-funded support for your journey.
Graduate Start Up - FUEL
With our Intensive 6-Week Graduate Start-Up Program, founders can experience the very best expert lead workshops, mentoring and support. Getting you ready to pitch for up to £8000 grant funding.
Indie Games Accelerator - Power UP
Teesside University's purpose built accelerator programme for early stage independent videos games studios. Dedicated studio space, equipment, software and industry mentors. It's all here, just add talent.
32 seat purpose built commercial co-working space, more flexible than working from an office, more collaborative than working from home. Unlimited bean to cup coffee (and Tea), fast WiFi, large meeting rooms, secure parking, 1 min walk to the gym. Get productive and get connected to start up founders, academics and innovators.
With our partners Big River Bakery we have put social impact at the heart of our enterprise community. Engaging with refugees and communities suffering food poverty and social exclusion our bakery will inspire our students to use entrepreneurship to create positive action.
5 mini workshops to make, create, cut, print and sew. Our mini industrial wing even has its own micro warehouse, the pick, pack and post room. It even houses a social impact bakery! Get making.
